Josh Pepin – Executive Director
Josh’s love for Camp B’nai Brith began in 1995 as a Tzofim staff. He worked his way up in the ranks as a staff, unit head, specialty head, program director before joining the Bronfman Israel Experience Center (BIEC) in 2003 as a Follow-Up and March of the Living Coordinator. His community voyage led him to a job as a Senior Development Officer at Federation CJA from 2005 to 2007. In 2007 he returned to BIEC as the Director overseeing the Birthright, March of the Living, and Dorot programs. CBB came knocking in 2011 when he began his tenure as Executive Director, responsible for all camp operations, overseeing full-time staff, and taking on fundraising responsibilities. Josh has a BA in Sociology from Concordia University and feels right back at home at CBB, where almost a decade ago he met his wife Marissa.
Dayna Schwartz – Camp Director
Dayna began her camp journey at 6 years old in 1986 and has been a committed camper ever since. Dayna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University which she obtained while studying abroad in Italy, with a minor in education. As the Associate Director responsible for all camper and staff life, Dayna comes to Camp B’nai Brith of Montreal with a wealth of experience which include but are not limited to; Teaching English to children on a Kibbutz in Israel, being the Assistant Director of a Jewish summer camp in Upstate New York and working on Celebrity Cruise lines as Youth Entertainment Staff. Dayna also had her hands in teen travel where she lead various trips across Canada, USA and eventually became the Associate Director of the Bronfman Israel Experience Center where she organized the Montreal Communities Birthright trips and short and long term Israel experience programs. Dayna is thrilled to be a part of the Camp B’nai Brith of Montreal family and cannot imagine a summer without camp!
Jarred Coxford – Associate Director; Programming
Jarred joined the Camp B’nai Brith family in 2011 after spending the previous 13 years in Jewish camping as a camper, counselor, CIT staff, unit head, and CIT supervisor. He now supervises all aspects of camp programming and activities. He also supervises and operates the social media side of camp during the summer and throughout the year. He has a BA in Journalism from Concordia University and was the Programming Assistant for the March of the Living, before joining the CBB team.
This will be Megan’s 14th summer at Camp B’nai Brith. Since the age of 10, Megan has grown up as a camper, counsellor, unit head, Head Staff, and Program Director at CBB. Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University and an Education degree from Ottawa University, specializing in Health and Physical Education. Megan brings enthusiasm and lifelong devotion to her every summer at CBB! During the non-summer months, Megan is the Department Head of Physical Education at Sacred Heart School.
