Camp B’nai Brith is pleased to announce the appointment of Joey Berdugo-Adler who was elected to the position of President at our recent Annual General Meeting held on November 3, 2009. Joey is not only a well respected and active leader in the Montreal Jewish community but also very involved in philanthropic missions throughout the world. Her ONEXONE Foundation has raised millions to help children in underdeveloped countries as well as in North America. |
Joey has served with great dedication for many years as an officer and executive member of Camp B’nai Brith. She has chaired a number of our fundraising events such as the Raffle and Gala. Joey is a strong advocate of providing informal Jewish education to the most vulnerable in our community, through a camping experience which is the key for the development of Jewish identity and for securing our community’s Jewish future. Please join me in congratulating Joey Berdugo–Adler on assuming this role and wishing her the very best.
