Well, it feels like today was the real last day of camp. Yes, I know that we still have tomorrow as well as Friday morning but something about having the last day of activities for the summer and seeing everyone going to media or boating for the last time really sends the message home: summer 2014 is coming to a close.
Despite the weather, the staff and specialists used everything at their disposal to ensure today’s activities were just as fun and exciting as they were the first day. Today was especially special because the Pioneers had their 3rd annual summer Passover seder. The food was glorious and fun was had by all. A true sense of family filled the dining hall while they read their unique seder books.
This evening we also had our last dance of the summer. Our campers made sure to wear their Red clothes to support Superior Sound’s #RockTheRed campaign. Almost every camper was up and dancing and doing everything they could do to take advantage of every last moment they had at one of the best camps in the world; CBB.
Until tomorrow everyone. Please don’t forget to “Like” us on Facebook for constant updates on what’s happening in camp during the summer and during the year.
Josh @ the camp that keeps getting better.
