Day two is now done and might I say it was a good one! All of our campers have now had enough time to truly get to know each other and walking into a bunk of Inter Boys, who were strangers just two days ago, is like watching friends who have been together their whole lives. I sit in the dining hall at lunch and I hear everyone cheering and laughing together. Walking through camp, it’s like nothing I’ve seen before. The amount of spirit that the campers have this session is astounding!
Speaking of the activities before, I was able to squeeze in an hour to walk around and see the campers enjoying their activities. At waterski, Chalutzim campers got up on the rope for the first time, while Inter Boys were hilarious in Media preparing a video for CBB Live. The Junior Girls had literally the best time at circus with one of our incredible staff Max Yentin who has really been a huge asset to us at camp this summer.
Finally, our Pioneers landed at the airport this morning after their fantastic trip to Chicago. All of our staff were telling me stories about the great things that they did down in the windy city. Since the Pioneers are taking the next two days off for their own ‘Change-Over’, I will write a more extensive blog about their trip when they return.
Shabbat was another beauty! All our campers dressed in white joining together to celebrate the end of the week is always a pleasure. Camp traditions like these have a special place in my heart.
Until tomorrow everyone. Please don’t forget to “LIKE” us on Facebook for more updates
