Hello CBB Families!
Wow, how are we already done day four? Camp has just begun and it feels like it’s going by so fast. Today was just a normal day at camp filled with some amazing activities and with an infinite number of laughs! Once again I was lucky enough to walk around the camp to see some of the campers participating and having a great time.
Junior boys were learning to loose (shoot) an arrow at archery, while their friends in Junior girls were gliding over the water at boating. I got to see some of the senior boys erupt with laughter as they learnt to juggle for the first time at Circus and got to eat a little bit of the food the Senior girls made at Outdoor Cooking, which was delicious. I only had time left in the morning to quickly run over to singing to hear the Inter girls’ lovely voices. Obviously, though, there was much more to see and do.
Shabbat was fantastic here! We are very fortunate to have Yakov Sassi back at camp once again for his 34th summer helping us to celebrate each other on Friday nights. Everyone was up from their seats jumping and singing along, staff and campers alike. I hope all of you had an equally enjoyable Friday night.
Rona, our Jewish educator, led the camp in our Havdalah services last night. She also led the camp in a nigun, as well as various songs, accompanied by Elad, one of our talented music staff. I would like to wish everyone a Shavua Tov!
As always it is my absolute pleasure for me to write these blogs for all to be up to date with what’s going on at camp.
Until tomorrow everyone. Please don’t forget to “LIKE” us on Facebook for more updates!
