After an amazing Pioneer Variety Show, we treated our Co-Ed units (Chalutzim, Pioneers, SITs) to a day at the water park! They had so much fun and definitely took advantage of the unexpected good weather throughout the day.
After lunch our campers all gathered in Junior dining hall to make their very own Challahs for tonight’s Shabbat meal. Our campers and staff were extremely creative with their designs. The challahs ended up being absolutely delicious!
Tonight’s Shabbat was our final one of the year, so we decided to switch things up. We started our Shabbat ceremony at Flagpole, but then all walked together to our outdoor synagogue led by our very own Jarred Coxford leading the camp in the camp song. Our campers also got the chance to write letters that would be delivered to the Kotel by our very own Director of Jewish Education, Tzvi Sperber.

Unit Blog: Mike Picciuto – Jr. Boys
With just a few days left of camp , the Jr Boys are still going strong and loving every minute . Their performance at the Pio Variety Show was an absolute smash and definitely a crowd favourite . Evening programs are getting better and better, and the Jr Boys loved the activities with the campers from Israel . As we celebrate our last Shabbat with good songs and good food , it’s easy to look back on the 2nd session with fond memories . The Jr.Boys of 2013 made my summer and the staff ‘s summer one for the books .
