July 26 @ CBB

Hello Parents,

Today was a particularly exciting day for our campers at CBB. We were fortunate enough to have our SITs put on a camp wide Super Bowl. Our Junior, Inter. and Senior units got the chance to spend the morning with their bunks and go to activities, while our co-ed units spent the morning practicing for Super Bowl.

SONY DSCLast year we started this tradition for our Co-Ed campers and they were eager for Super Bowl 2013. Our units divide into four teams (two girls and two boys) and spent a few days practicing to get ready for the main event which took place this afternoon. All our campers in our other units were invited to come watch the game. The campers cheered for their favourite teams, danced to music and enjoyed some snacks under the beautiful sun. A big congratulations go out to the girl’s Giants and the boy’s Jets teams!

SONY DSCEarlier this evening I got the pleasure to attend our first shabbat of second session. It was great to see all of our campers wearing white, singing Jewish songs and reflecting upon the past amazing week that was. Our campers were also treated to a delicious dinner of chicken noodle soup, schnitzel and brownies.

What a great day it turned out to be!

Yours truly,

Josh @ the camp keeps on growing

IMG_2455Hello parents!

I’m so excited to tell you that this first week of camp has been nothing short of amazing! All 12 girls have bonded so quickly which really created an inter girls family! We have been doing some really fun evening programs where every single one of your children participated! Your 11 and 12 year old girls are truly becoming more independent while having a blast at camp! We have so many exciting programs ahead of us and I can’t wait to share all the stories with you!
