It is with mixed emotions that I write this final blog for the first month of summer 2013. We had an amazing month full of fun, laughter and bonding. Our campers developed new skills, new experiences, and new life long relationships.
Today was an amazing final day of camp. Our campers spent most of the day cleaning and packing for tomorrow’s departure back home. Our directors traveled around camp throughout the day to ensure that cleanup was carried out efficiently and correctly.
We then treated our campers to a general swim since the sun was still shining. They spent their time reminiscing about their time at CBB while soaking up the sun. After general swim, our campers and staff got an extended shower time in order to dress up for our annual banquet.
Tonight’s space-themed banquet was a huge success. Our head staff not only dressed up as aliens, but also served the food to the campers. The food was particularly amazing tonight as Jordi served mini-hamburgers, merguez, grilled chicken, fruit and much more.
Our campers then proceeded to culmination where they got a chance to see their staff perform songs written just for them! We were then all treated to the slideshow which was produced by our media team. The campers and staff sure loved it and I’m sure you will too.
We’ve made some incredible changes at camp based on the information provided to us by parents. We view feedback as a gift. Please take the few minutes and fill out the survey below.
