We had another great day at our option periods. Our campers are continually developing their skills in their respective specialties. Since it was a very hot and humid day at CBB, we ensured that our campers and staff were staying properly hydrated and clothed throughout the day to keep them going!
We also had the pleasure of celebrating Independence Day for the United States. Our campers and staff who hold a U.S. passport had the opportunity to not only raise the American flag, but to also lead the whole camp in the Star Spangled Banner. Lunch was a treat with delicious tomato soup and grilled cheese. Our campers definitely left that meal as full as could be!
We also were honoured to get a visit from the leaders of the Foundation for Jewish Camps. They were extremely impressed by our camp programming and facilities and we could not be more proud.
Evening programs for our campers were a success with sports for our Sr. Units, Casino night planning for Chalutzim, and a Chinese auction for our Jr. Girls.

Unit Blog: Zack Miller- Inter. Boys
This has been a very exciting first week for the Inter Boys! We’ve had many exciting options as well as some great unit activities. We’ve had some super exciting options like outdoor cooking, waterskiing and all sorts of land sports. As a unit we’ve had some very cool evening program as well; from overnight hikes to scavenger hunts with a Jewish twist, we’ve had many chances to bond as a unit. A few things that have highlighted the week is that we had multiple campers in our unit get asked to go to the dance, and having the bunk that won the cleanest cabin in camp! Keep your eyes peeled for more Inter. Boy updates!
